Minimize All Windows Except Under Mouse

Hi there,

Before I venture out on my own (that may be dangerous ), is there a way to minimize all open windows except those under the mouse?

And for the million-dollar bonus... to unminimize all minimized windows?

Thanks!
Craig

do you really need to minimize them all or just hide?

Thanks for the quick reply! I suppose hiding would work just as well, but in the past, I have had issues unhiding them all (not able to find/create a shortcut for that).

is there a reason the macOS standard functions "hide others" and "show all" do not work for you?

I've tried to set the "Show All" shortcut, but it never works strangely. Not sure why.

have you tried configuring it for all applications? (it seems to work ok here)

Thanks again for the response. Yes, I've tried that, and for some reason, although the shortcut is recorded, it does not recall the windows as expected. I have experienced this for a while and have never found a solution each time I try.

weird, does it work if you click that menu item manually? (You could also use the BTT action "Trigger Menubar Menu-Item" with this configuration "(1);Show All"

This worked! However, for some reason hidden Chrome windows won't come back, everything else does, though.

Adding this brought Chrome back from hidden

One last question...
When retrieving all hidden windows, for some reason, this window keeps opening. Can I target/activate this window with this command string so that I can then hide it with a simple keyboard stroke command ⌘H?

GOT IT! It may be a bit convoluted but it works!
