Is it possible to display a menubar icon on the touch bar? Or, to configure a floating menu to appear on the touchbar, which would allow the same, since we can have menubar icons in a floating menu. I really like iStat Menu's status widgets, sometimes they disappear from menubar due to apps with long menus of their own, thus would like to have them display on the touchbar.
Another reason I'm asking is that I've discovered a solution for using the touchbar on Macs that don't have them. The free software Touché Touché - Touch bar for Everyone is working for me on the latest Sequoia 15.5 and making me very happy 
... and perhaps in the future the Flexbar from Eniac - it can't show the MacOS touchbar now, I have hope they will eventually.
