Magic Mouse frequently disconnects

Describe the bug
When Better Touch Tool is active, my (new) Magic Mouse 2 very frequently disconnects and reconnects automatically. Once I disable the tool, this doesn't happen anymore. There is no crash report, just the 'disconnected' ... 'connected' alert from macOS. This sometimes happens every ~5 minutes, sometimes every ~30 minutes. I can't find a certain event that triggers the issue beside the fact that BTT seems to cause it.
Affected input device (e.g. MacBook Trackpad, Magic Mouse/Trackpad, Touch Bar, etc.):
Magic Mouse 2

Device information:

  • Type of Mac: MacBook Pro (16-inch 2019)
  • macOS version: 10.15.4
  • BetterTouchTool version: 3.358 alpha
Additional information (e.g. StackTraces, related issues, screenshots, workarounds, etc.):
    Disabling BTT 'fixes' the problem.

I don't think BTT can cause disconnects. Usually it's some device that interferes with bluetooth (e.g. monitor, dock, etc.)

Thank you for your response! In the end, it was a hardware related issue. Sorry for the confusion!
