Logitech MX Creative Console Support?

Appreciate this is probably a very niche bit of hardware, especially compared to the Stream Deck, but I recently picked up a MX Creative Console which has both a Stream Deck like display pad and a dial pad with 2 wheels, and 4 buttons. Currently all the mapping has to be done in Logi Options Plus, which is not so great.

As the recent Logitech support for mice has been so good, essentially able to replace Logi Options Plus, is there any possibility of integrating the MX Creative Console into BTT in the future as well?

I do have plans to make BTT's stream deck implementation more generic to also support things like the loupedeck and maybe this logitech one. However I currently can not tell what is feasible and how long it will take. Could be simple or could be impossible, I'll need to investigate.

Believe the MX Creative Console is to some extent built on top of loupedeck, at least the plug ins in the Logi options app are the same file types, so presume that they are similar.

There seem to be a few niche projects out there that are able to get some some functionality for the MX Creative Console on Linux such as GitHub - abishekmuthian/logimap: Logitech Creative Console mapping software for Linux · GitHub, so am hopeful it can be added in BTT one day too!

Made some good progress on the genric macro pad support today, I think I will be able to add support for the MX Creative Console next week. And while Logitech did indeed buy Loupedeck, it uses a completely different protocol. Luckily that protocol has already been fully reverse engineered and with BTT's new more generic macro pad support it will be easy to support it.

Great news! I presume the dial pad is similar to a mouse. The major issue I have with the dials is that even when setting them to zero percent sensitivity in logi options plus, it is still far too sensitive when scrolling. So being able to dial in the sensitivity of the dial in BTT would be great.

But just being able to customise the macro pad in BTT has got me excited! If it works with the generic Ajazz/Mirabox ones I see all the time on Aliexpress, I may have to pick one up!

ah yes these are definitely also feasible. They even have some sort of official SDK. I'll add them.

Most Ajazz and Mirabox and Loupedeck Live / Razer Stream Controller devices are now supported in 6.705.

Logitech MX Creative Console will come next week.

Ah, good to know the MX Creative Console stuff is coming soon. Had a play with the generic macro pad stuff when it popped up in the release notes and couldn't get it working with the Logitech. Looking forward to testing it out!

btw. the dial pad behaves like a standard logitech mouse, so that should already work fine with BTT's normal mouse support / logitech mouse support. The display pad is basically completely separate.

It does, but I could not find an option like there is in keyboards for the triggers (scroll up, down, left, right) to only apply to the specific device that is used to record them. So setting an action for scroll up for example on the dial pad, then just gets triggered by any mouse scrolling up.

I guess if it is integrated into the Logitech Mouse Configuration, it would then link to the specific device. But it does not get recognised at present with that, it just gets seen as a general mouse. The 4 buttons on the dial pad do work perfectly with the general mouse configuration however.

ah true, I need to add it to the database for that to work!

The full creative console is now supported in 6.710 - the dial pad as mouse, the macropad via floating menus. A template is available in the floating menu section:
