Logitech G502 x plus - dpi shift button its seen as forward button

it's bugging me out that forward side button its seen as button 5 instead of button 4 (which is mapped to dpi shift button). How can i change this?

I am not sure I understand. The button numbers are pretty meaningless, you can assign any action you want to them

i use windows vm and some apps there are mapped to do some specific actions on buttons 3 and 4 which are the basic mouse buttons for back and forward. On mine the back button is number 3 but the forward is number 5 and DPI shift is number 4.
Also what is the action that mimicks mouse button forward? i can`t seem to find this one

Ah if you need it for windows, you can assign the number you need by using the "custom mouse buttons & modifiers" action:

On macOS there are no defaults for back/foward but for most apps the predefined actions "3f Swipe Left / Page Back" and "3f Swipe Right / Page Forward" work well.
