After macOS Tahoe 26.2 wakes from sleep, if the mouse hasn’t been used for a long time, the Logitech MX mouse appears to wake up before its custom configuration is fully active.
For a short moment, the mouse behaves as if it’s using default settings, and only after some interaction does the Logitech/BTT configuration kick in.
This also happened with the original Logitech software, which makes me wonder:
-
Is this a hardware / firmware limitation of the mouse?
-
Or is there a software workaround (e.g. forcing earlier device initialization, pre-waking HID, etc.) that could make the configuration apply immediately after wake?
Any insight would be appreciated—especially whether this is something BTT could influence or if it’s fundamentally on the device/driver side.
