Logitech Configuration delay after wake from sleep

After macOS Tahoe 26.2 wakes from sleep, if the mouse hasn’t been used for a long time, the Logitech MX mouse appears to wake up before its custom configuration is fully active.
For a short moment, the mouse behaves as if it’s using default settings, and only after some interaction does the Logitech/BTT configuration kick in.

This also happened with the original Logitech software, which makes me wonder:

  • Is this a hardware / firmware limitation of the mouse?

  • Or is there a software workaround (e.g. forcing earlier device initialization, pre-waking HID, etc.) that could make the configuration apply immediately after wake?

Any insight would be appreciated—especially whether this is something BTT could influence or if it’s fundamentally on the device/driver side.

This is a technical limitation because the mouse needs to be reinitalized. However it is not optimized yet.

Can you try whether 6.025 makes this (much) faster for you? (it's a bit experimental right now). THis only works if BTT is not set to restart after sleep.

Note: on 6.029 I didn’t see any noticeable speed up.
