Lock a sequence of actions / a trigger

@Andreas_Hegenberg Unfortunately, I sometimes accidentally change/edit a sequence of actions. It's my fault, but it's still annoying.

I would like to have the option to lock a trigger / a sequence of actions, so that it cannot be edited. Perhaps with a button that could look like this:

Would that be possible? Thanks!

The entire “edit/save-changes/escape/don’t-save-changes” implementation could be reworked to better effect. Even when I am trying to edit, it is not clear to me what user actions save changes and what user actions don’t, other than clicking “Save” which always saves. Sometimes things are saved when I don’t click save – sometimes changes are lost when I leave editing an action sequence to go get a UUID – these confuse me.

BTT automatically saves changes when you switch the trigger. This means that changes are always saved, even without “save.”

What I want is to be unable to change anything.

maybe moving them to a preset that is hidden from the UI by default (but still active) could help?

Mm, hidden but active? I don't think I understand. If I can't see a preset, it's not active.

Or is that new? Could you please explain that briefly?

Edit: Ah, sorry, now I understand... I'll try that out.

Okay, that's not a bad solution at all, thanks Andreas.

Can I request a predefined action (or a script?) similar to the action below to make a preset visible/invisible?
