I've been seeing some good open-source TTS models available.
Currently using the standard macOS one to read scripts, long emails, messages, documentation, etc. It's terrible to listen to.
I hope they come up with a better TTS engine tomorrow, but having the BTT option would be great! Especially if we could load any TTS model (similar to Ollama, but for TTS models).
I'm pretty sure Apple will have better TTS models announced tomorrow. I have been looking at easy ways of integrating TTS a while ago - preferably in a generic way, but the options are currently pretty limited. I think there have been proposals of supporting TTS models in ollama, that would probably be the best option.
Having those in Ollama would be massive!
