I recently renewed my 2-year license on my iMac. Can I also use the same license to upgrade Bettertouchtool on my Macbook?

yes, the license is per-user. You can use it on all your machines.

after purchasing you received an e-mail that contains the license information. You can use that same license on your other Mac. No need to transfer.
