Left side of menu bar disappears when switching Spaces (no animation)

Hi, I am encountering a reproducible issue related to menu bar rendering when using BetterTouchTool.

Environment: macOS (latest version) + BetterTouchTool (latest version) + 0 external displays setup

Issue: After switching Spaces using a BetterTouchTool gesture/shortcut (the one that hides animation), the left side of the menu bar becomes invisible:

• The  menu and application menus are not rendered

• However, the area is still interactive / clickable

• If I click where the  menu or menu items should be, they open correctly

The right side of the menu bar (Control Center, system icons, clock) remains fully visible and functional.

Restart did not fix the problem. Quitting BetterTouchTool prevents the issue entirely.

FIX:

• re-trigger the “enable notch” setting in the “notch / action menu bar”
• re-trigger the “displays have separate spaces” in the system settings, desktop&dock tab
• reboot the system

looks like the problem goes away after this

if the problem comes back, i’ll update this thread
