Summary
With a single configured Launcher, keyboard navigation seems reliable. As soon
as I have two Launchers (with different launcher IDs, each bound to its own
shortcut) and both have been activated at least once in a session, the
Launcher stops reliably holding keyboard focus: whichever Launcher I open may no
longer respond to ↑/↓/Return/Esc. Typing into the search field still filters,
but navigation/selection/dismissal keys do nothing. Clicking directly into the
search field seems to restore exactly one keypress, then focus is lost again.
Steps to reproduce
- Configure two Launchers with different launcher IDs, each bound to its own
keyboard shortcut (e.g. Launcher A on ⌘Space, Launcher B on ⌘Tab). Default
configuration; no plugins required. - Restart BTT.
- Open Launcher A — arrows/Return/Esc work correctly.
- Open Launcher B at least once (then dismiss).
- Open Launcher B again and use the keyboard.
Expected: each Launcher, whenever opened, becomes the key window and responds to ↑/↓/Return/Esc.
Actual: after both Launchers have been activated, the open Launcher is
visible but does not seem to be window receiving keystrokes. Keyboard navigation is dead. Clicking the search field can make it respond to one keypress, then focus is lost again.
I have also seen 'Enter' pressed on 'Launcher B' invoke actions that were only
visible within 'Launcher A'.
