Dear fellow Mouse- or Trackpad-Cowboys,
for all of you who - of course - know all the keyboard shortcuts but sometimes just prefer to use the Mouse or Trackpad instead (just like me), I have created „Lasso“. A Hierarchical Circular Menu which serves you with all you need right at your fingertips…like a Cowboy has his „Lasso“.
Note: This is the first release of „Lasso“ and I am happy to receive your feedback, feature requests and bug reports. This will help to improve „Lasso“ quickly.

Trigger Options
Of course you want „Lasso“ to be triggered by your mouse or trackpad and there are two ways to do so:
- Important: Make sure to save the current Mouse-Position in the variable "Lasso_Initial_Position" before you trigger the Lasso-Main-Menu.
-
Trigger the Lasso-Main-Menu („Lasso_Main“) and from there go to the Sub-Menus. See example:
Normal Trigger.bttpreset (1.4 KB) -
Trigger the Lasso-Main-Menu and the Lasso-Sub-Menus with „Cycle through multiple actions (on repeated trigger)“ action. This way you can directly reach the Sub-Menus. See example:
Cycle through multiple actions.bttpreset (14.2 KB)
Open Topics / Next Steps:
- Activate „Allow Hover On Whole Pizza Slices“ once the misbehavior with the „Reset Floating Menu / item properties“ is fixed
- Hover effect sometimes not responsive
- If the tooltip is active, you need to click twice to activate
- Improve "Window Switcher" integration (find better settings)
Download Lasso
I had to zip the bttpreset because it was too large and hit the upload limit.

Have fun with "Lasso" - I hope you like it (!?)
Kind regards,
Volker
