My keyboard shortcuts have stopped working. BTT just doesn't send them. This includes both general and app-specific. Mouse shortcuts are still working.
I even tried completely uninstalling the app then importing my config from my work computer (where everything still works fine), but no luck.
Any suggestions?
I still need help with this. Is there a more official channel that gets me support from devs?
Unfortunately I don't really have an idea. Is your BTT maybe disabled? (click the menubar icon to see)
Other triggers are working fine, I'm only having trouble with keyboard shortcuts.
Can you post a screenshot of your screenshot configurations? Or maybe export them to a file and attach here then I can check

What do your settings here look like?
Or possibly it's some permission issue.
You could try to quit BTT, then completely delete it from System Settings => Privacy & Security => Accessibility, and then add it again manually
My windows management settings look the same as yours. I'm not so worried about that shortcut, it's the app specific shortcuts that I miss.
I quit BTT, removed it from from Accessibility and Screen Recording, then started it back up and added them again. No change.
Do neither your safari nor your simple comic shortcuts work? (I could only try your safari one, but that seems to work ok here)
Correct, neither of them work.
I tried creating a new one for a different app, and it doesn't work either.
If you want you can go to Help => Export Diagnostic Debug Information and send the result to me (andreas@folivora.ai) there I should be able to see what's wrong
I believe it must be some weird permission issue because with the exact debug data you sent everything is working ok here.
Try to do a full reset of the BTT permissions, make sure to quit BTT first then execute this terminal command
sudo tccutil reset com.hegenberg.BetterTouchTool All
I found the problem, it's with the remote desktop software I'm using (Jump Desktop). I connected a keyboard directly to my headless server (where BTT is running) and the shortcuts work fine.

Maybe I was too hasty. I know the problem involves Jump Desktop, and how it interacts with BTT, but I don't know which software is causing the issue. Something changed in the last month or two, and now Jump and BTT don't communicate like they used to...
Either BTT isn't "hearing" the key to trigger the shortcut, or Jump isn't "hearing" the shortcut that BTT sends. How can I narrow it down and find out where the problem is?
unfortunately almost all screen sharing software is impossible to work with when it comes to programatically generated keyboard events. Jump Desktop has been an exception and worked quite well (I last tried it many years ago though).
I don't think there was a change in BTT that could influence this, but I can't say for sure. I'll have a look, but it will take a bit.

You could try downgrading to an older version of BTT:
Index of /releases, but I don't know whether that would help
Not sure if this is helpful, but I tried another popular Mac app for keyboard shortcuts and it's working with Jump Desktop.
