Keyboard Shortcut Paste Problem

I added a simple keyboard shortcut to paste text. After doing so, when I would highlight other text to paste somewhere, not using BTT, it keeps pasting the text I added to the shortcut, rather than the text I just copied, whether I use Ctrl-C, or right click to copy.

I'll admit I haven't tried the alpha version as I'm hesitant to try a pre beta program.

I just figured out the problem. It was a poorly thought out key combination -⌘ V
