key sequence question

Hello,
I use key sequences a lot: a brilliant function. Bravo @Andreas_Hegenberg
My question is:
If I have a key sequence which looks like Fn(:globe_with_meridians:) followed by G.
Is there any way that I can create a distinct key sequence with different actions using as a trigger (for example) the key sequence Fn(:globe_with_meridians:) followed by G followed by N
My problem is obviously that as soon as I press G, :globe_with_meridians: G is triggered before I have the time to type the N

thanks in advance for your time and help

P.S. Fn(:globe_with_meridians:) refers to a single key, the apple modifier Fn key also called :globe_with_meridians: or globe

Yes, you can use this option and adjust the "wait time" to your preferences:

I already do at 0.5 but it still triggers as soon as I type the G before the N.
thank you

Maybe I did not understand correctly.

Do you have a setup like this?

In both cases, it's a key sequence: Fn pressed and released followed by G or G followed by N
You seem to be pressing Fn followed by letters followed by release of Fn.
Do I have to redo all my key sequences ?
thank you

for the second one (fn globe g n ) you don't need to add the wait time that one can trigger immediately. Maybe that's causing the issue?

This works for me :slightly_smiling_face:

And in such cases I still set the shortcut to modifier + letters "does nothing"

Works perfectly. Once again Frankie saves the day !! thanks very much !!

@Frank1 @Andreas_Hegenberg
I see that in both your examples, you press Fn → press the letters → release Fn, where is pressed Fn and the letters in sequence.
Should I change the way I design my key sequences ?
thank you

if you rather like to release fn first, that should be fine. It just feels more natural to me to keep it pressed

Did you deliberately use a Max Pause zwischen Tastenschlägen of 0.3 when there is the letter G only and 0.84 when you press 2 letters (G and N) ?
Vielen Dank und freundliche Grüsse !

The first sequence triggers when fn is released. This is no longer necessary with the second sequence because another letter is pressed after "g". The sequence can therefore already be triggered with "n" down.

The values express how long it takes to type one or two letters.
