Key mapping does not work

Note:
Before bug reporting, please make sure you have tried the latest (alpha) version of BetterTouchTool and that you have already tried to restart your system :-). If you encounter a crash, please attach a crash log from the macOS Console.app's "Crash Reports" section.

Describe the bug
I want to map a three-finger swipe left to a key in an RDP application. I've tried both keyboard shortcuts and modifier keys, but neither works. I've set the same configuration in RDP and local Edge applications, and a key detection website shows the gesture is correctly translated into a key sequence. What should I do?

Affected input device (e.g. MacBook Trackpad, Magic Mouse/Trackpad, Touch Bar, etc.):

MacBook Trackpad

Device information:

  • Type of Mac: macbook pro m1
  • macOS version: 26.0.1 (25A362)
  • BetterTouchTool version: 5.750

Additional information (e.g. crash logs, related issues, etc.):

The alt key is always released before the arrow keys, causing shortcuts to not take effect

unfortunatel most RDP / VNC / Virtual Machine apps won‘t work well with BTT‘s programmatically generated events. There is no good general worksround for this
