Hi, been having a lot of fun configuring my setup. One gesture I get stuck unable to personalize is dragging mouse with button down to switch workspaces in a smooth manner with natural direction (swipe left → move to right space with drag left(continuous)). I think it’s one thing Linear Mouse has pulled off really well so I was wondering if something similar could be implemented on BTT. Linear Mouse is such a rigid app, though, that I cannot give up all the customization that BTT offers just for that single feature, I would lose the ability to customize my swipe up, down, and more gestures so I’d love a native solution within BTT of something similar. I know that smooth space switch is a relatively recent addition so I’m patiently waiting to see if it can be developed even further.
Lag issues?: I have been getting quite a bit of jitteriness with the smooth space switches and inconsistent handling of when I let go of the mouse button during the drag (sometimes the screen smoothly settles into the space, but other times it jumps to the next or back into the current space without any animation at all). I guess I’m looking for a more native style movement so this bugs me. I’ve been trying to smooth out these issues with the two variables I’ve seen available (progress per second and drag sensitivity) but to no avail. Also, I’ve played around with “Stop Smooth Space Switch” but have ultimately decided I can skip adding it to any action. Please let me know if that’s mistaken. So if these additions (natural swipe direction, smoother and more consistent handling of the animations, and maybe acceleration curve?) were to be added, I’d be really grateful.
