Is it possible to capture a double press of a modifier key? Like Shift-shift

I'm trying to make double pressing shift key be a quick access key, when I press it, I want to popup iTerm2 no matter where I am in the OS. Double pressing shift is so easy for me that I want to really use it but I don't know how to do this or if it's even possible in BTT?
