Is it possible for a macro pad to trigger macros only?

So I use a keyboard of course, but I also use a 9 key macro pad.I was curious if I could set my macros to only work through my macro pad since the OS can detect the input by a certain device. (my macro pad is a 1-9 keypad). Not sure if it is a thing but it seems possible.

yes you should be able to record a shortcut with it and then enable the option to make it work only on the keyboard it was recorded on (it’s an option in the shortcut’s config)

I tried doing that, however it changed nothing unfortunately.

you might need to re-record the shortcut after doing that, have you tried this?
