Inverse scrolling for normal mice only has problems with multi-user setup

Describe the bug
When 2 users are logged in, toggling Inverse scrolling for normal mice only seems to sometimes affect the second user too - without reflecting the state in the checkbox. Either this or it just randomly stops working after a while.

Affected input device (e.g. MacBook Trackpad, Magic Mouse/Trackpad, Touch Bar, etc.):

external mouse

Device information:

  • Type of Mac: MacBook
  • macOS version: 15.6
  • BetterTouchTool version: 5.444

Additional information (e.g. crash logs, related issues, etc.):
This has been the case for a looooong time. I have just now found the time to report it :sweat_smile:

In general many of BTT's features don't work well with multi user setups. Unfortunately this is hard / impossible to solve, thus I never invested a lot of time into it ;-(
