I would very much like to know this as well.. is it possible to take buttons from existing apps and import them into BTT somehow? Or merge them as it is asked above?
Merging is unfortunately not possible, afaik Apple blocks this.
"Exporting" is possible as long as you can reproduce the action and create the action on your own - through menu bar interactions f.eg, or Apple Script.
So basically it's mimicking, not the actual app control? is it still the same result? ex) fantastical or vscode
