Indesign snapping bug

Hi there, this is such a great too so thank you!

I have a bug which possibly appeared back in your forums in Feb 23 but no obvious resolution.

Problem
Does anyone have a snapping issue with Indesign? You will randomly click on an area, it could be a font, or a background etc and it will lose whatever its snapped to and jump to a different area of the screen?

I have restarted, uninstalled Indesign etc but still happens. No issue with Photoshop or Illustrator etc.

Device information:

  • Type of Mac: iMac M3
  • macOS version: Sonoma 14.4.1
  • BetterTouchTool version: 1.9.9
  • Indesign: 19.3

By now Adobe fixed this for most of their apps, but maybe not for Indesign ;-(
Unfortunately there is no real solution. You could disable BetterSnapTool completely for Indesign to at least make it less confusing.
