if then else combined with app show hide

Catalina BTT latest versions
I use the show/hide app a lot. The only problem is that when the app has not yet been launched, the action obviously does not work.
If there any way to have BTT first check if the app has been launched.

  • if yes, toggle show hide
  • if no launch the app

I'm on Monterey, latest BTT alpha, and "Show/Hide Specific Application" launches the app if it's not already open.

There is an option to "Only Perform if App is Already Running". Maybe that is checked on your shortcut?
