Better Touch Tool keeps sticking a top level screen on my Mac. It says I have to change my security settings. Been there done that. Three times. Can't use my Mac with this screen popping up and remaining in dysfunctional.
IF I could figue out how to remove the popping up screen I would do that. IF I could close the program, I would do that too. IF I could erase BTT, I would do that. UNTIL I can do one of these options I am being held prisoner by a software glitch. ANY help would be appreciated. Thanks
sounds like macOS bug where it can’t correctly dave to that security database (tcc), are you on an older macOS version?
you can try resetting the macOS tcc database using this terminal command. Make sure to quit BTT first.
sudo tccutil reset All com.hegenberg.BetterTouchTool
I also sometimes see this dialog, but simply restarting BTT solves my problem (menu bar is still accessible, and I made it a gesture so it is even easier to do)...
