I cannot find the compact view

I just reinstalled BTT and I’m getting crazy to find the compact view. I know there’s a settings somewhere but I can’t find it. At the moment my view is this, but I’m sure there’s a list view.

Can you help me? Thanks

You don’t seem to have it though? What’s your version?

that list view mode is deprecated, BTT only supports the standard view mode on new installations

Currently you can still reenable it in the settings, but it is not being updated anymore:

Oh, thank you @Pal and @Andreas_Hegenberg

It’s curious because I was sure there was a button but suddenly it disappeared.

Please Andreas, consider te option to leave the list view, because it’s much more user friendly than the new method: in one view you have all the settings available, while the “bigger” mode forces you to switch back and forth and I find it a bit too messy.

Have a nice day.

I know some users prefer the list mode, but I don’t use it myself (and > 95% of users also have never used it even when it was still available), which is why it has become so buggy and never got the newer features. It’s no fun maintaining that, thus I decided to phase it out.

Ideas on how to improve the standard view mode are welcome though!

I think it’s ok the way it is, but if you could expand it when the window is long enough just to show everything all-together, it would be simpler to use.

Just put the (selected) group options already in the right panel (without the writing “open selected group”) and a new panel (with the commands) to its right, so you can have everything available, without having the sliding parts. Of course, if window isn’t wide enough, the current behavior is ok.

I don’t have a graphic app here at the moment, so I can’t post and example. I’ll try to do it in the next days.

Here’s a rough example.

A big +1 to this! I’m a big fan of UI’s that show as much as possible in a single view. Jumping back and forth is a pain, and I don’t need any air between the information. Just cram it in!
