Hyperlink 3-Fingers tap in Firefox triggers extremelly slowly

Hi,

Thank you for this useful and beautiful app!

I am facing an issue and I am not sure it is linked to BTT.
I cannot reproduce the same behavior with Safari.
The same customization works in Safari when in Firefox it takes "ages" to trigger.
The configuration is quite simple: when I Tap 3 fingers on a hyperlink the middle-click triggers and opens the link in a new tab.

Problem:
A 3-finger tap on a hyperlink in Firefox takes too much time to open the link in a new tab which is not the case with Safari.

Affected input device: MacBook Trackpad

Device information:

  • Type of Mac: MacBook Pro 16" 2021
  • macOS version: v 12.4
  • BetterTouchTool version: 3.826

Weird, it should not take much longer in Firefox. Maybe some extension?

Does cmd+click instead of middle click maybe work better?

Yep, It's instantaneous with cmd+click
