I’ve recently started using BetterTouchTool (BTT) and I’m enjoying it so far! However, I’ve encountered two minor issues:

Hyper Key Functionality in Edge

• I’ve replaced my HyperKey App with BTT’s Hyper Key (Caps Lock mapped to Shift + Control + Option + Command).

• I use Caps Lock + S to trigger file search in Raycast—this worked seamlessly with HyperKey App.

• In Microsoft Edge, when I press the shortcut, it initially displays a message saying logging is not enabled. However, when I press it again, it works correctly.

  • Also some times it just does not work, and I still see the greenlight come on when I hit capslock.

Maybe I'm better off going back to the Hyperkey App?

Screen Wake Resizing Issue

• I use two external monitors along with my laptop screen.

• Since switching to BTT, whenever I wake my screens, application windows shrink, requiring me to resize them using the Fill command manually.

• This issue did not occur before I started using BTT.

Hyper Key Functionality in Edge
Can you check if the trigger is shown in "Recently used"? How have you configured it? Is it a global shortcut or under MS Edge?

I think I've sorted the Hyperkey issue; I had some old Apple Shortcuts using the same combinations, which did not seem to affect when using the Hyperkey app but caused issues with BTT.

The window resizing issue is also most likely not related to BTT. BTT does not resize windows unless you actively tell it to.
