Hi!
I'm on BetterTouchTool 4.9994 and my hyperkey is not working as before (didn't change the configuration). I've tried to change something in what it triggers and its not the other tools, but it seems it is BTT.
Even setting a simple show notification when caps lock is pressed will not do anything.
Restarting my computer did not fix it.
Can you please help me with this? Thanks!
Note:
Before bug reporting, please make sure you have tried the latest (alpha) version of BetterTouchTool and that you have already tried to restart your system :-). If you encounter a crash, please attach a crash log from the macOS Console.app from the "User Diagnostic Reports" section.

act as hyperkey always needs to be the only action assigned to caps lock, did this really work before? I'll check whether I can restore this behavior.
Hi @Andreas_Hegenberg I added that just to test if by pressing caps lock even the notification will be triggered but no.
I have it like this now and still it does not work
Does it not even activate the hyper key? I know it won't execute any other actions (I didn't know this was possible before), but this config should work as hyperkey
No, nothing happens really. Before it triggered stuff after acting as hyper key. So, what I want to do, is that when I press the caps lock, it does not work as caps lock, but instead triggers a macro on Keyboard Maestro. I did that before by using it as I'm showing it here. The Apple Script triggers the Keyboard Maestro macro.
After the last update, it has not worked, so I've been trying to fix it, to no avail.
Ah but why do you have the "Act as hyperkey" in there then?
I think your usecase should work fine if you remove that (but you might need to restart BTT afterwards)
I think your setup should work again with 4.9995 - uploading now! (not sure whether I'd recommend it though )
Thanks! Or if there is another way of pressing caps lock and triggering something (an Apple Script) without actually enabling caps lock that would be great. That's my only use case, to add hyperkey, so that it does not change to uppercase
