Hyperkey falls back to caps lock in password fields

I have configured 1Password to show on hyper+p.

This works everywhere, except in password fields, which is a problem on webpages where username and password are on separate pages.

unfortunately this is a limitation for apps like BTT that do not install kernel extensions.
Password fields are considered "secure context" by macOS, (un)fortunately macOS will prevent any normal app from receiving any keyboard input in such secure contexts. There are also no exceptions to this rule, so there won't be a solution.

I can live with that limitation, as it means I have one fewer kernel extensions to worry about.
