I wonder if there is a way to set up a hyperkey binding that lets me hold hyperkey while pressing backspace, to behave as delete?
I quickly tried it with a key sequence, but it forces me to have to release the hyperkey to work. I want to be able to tap backspace to delete multiple characters... Im sure you get the point.
I see that when recording backspace it only registers the key-up action. Could that be the reason?

I'm not quite sure if this will work in your case, but it might work with the Advanced Conditions.
For example: 55, is left cmd.
Did you mean that I record the backspace button as a key sequence for forward delete, with my hyperkey modifiers as a condition? Unless there is something I misunderstoor, I can't get this solution to work.
Edit: I got it working! I just had to type the keycodes for the hyperkey in the correct order, and set the condition to contains.
