Is there a way to customize where on screen HUD is shown. It’s helpful to indicate visually that the action is being performed, but the fact that it’s right in the middle of the screen, potentially covering important information, albeit for a short time, is quite distracting. Ideally I would like to move it closer to the notification area where it would fit really nicely with its purpose?
yes, the show hud action has some positioning options 
Right, which would require a separate action everywhere. Would be nice to had an option on the keypress action itself - where we turn it on, and then a selector how to show it. Much cleaner to maintain it that way.
sorry, detailed hud configuration is only possible via action, this won't change. I can think of ways to male it easier to add a hud action though.
ok, trying to make hud work… First - is there a way to center the text horizontally? Second - I can’t make the icon show up; when I use SF they show up fine, but when I use one from my disk - it doesn’t show up.
In your screenshot the text is already centered horizontally, that is also the default. Or am I missing something?
Do you know what image format you have been using? BTT supports most common formats but there might be some that can not be rendered natively. Best try with something simple like a PNG.
I meant vertically, if I leave the icon empty.
I guess I don’t know the image format since I copied one into a clipboard and used “from clipboard” button in BTT.
