How do I remove the fullscreen icon on the left of the touchbar (I think it comes defaut with GoldenChaos)?

Yes I have, it is just in your better touch tool library somewhere. Look for the icon in the app, click on the icon and untick the 'show in touch bar' 
idk if you still need it but you gotta click on "escape keys" on the left sidebar disable esc/fullscreen. hope this helps
