How to make the BTT menubar extrabar appear only when clicking on the symbol?

Hi,

The default behavior of the BTT-based menubar manager is to show the custom bar when hovering over the last part of the menubar.

Would it be possible to make the custom bar be displayed only when clicking the BTT symbol used to hide the menu bar actions?

I have been looking at how the example preset but I don't know how to make such a change.

can you share which example preset you are using? then I can tell you what to change

Delete or disable this:

Then either edit the existing menubar item here, or add a new one. In this screenshot I added a new one.
Assign the predefined action "Toggle Floating Menu" and set it to "StatusItemBar":

I have followed the instructions:

  1. the display on hover was indeed disabled
  2. the display on click does not work though.

I got it working by moving the Toggle Floating Menu action into the existing Menubar Item.

I have also updated BTT as I've noticed there have been some updates.
