Is there a way to have the floating menu appear only when the mouse is hovering over it or on the end of the screen and disappear when you move the mouse away?
I assume you mean this: In the Named Triggers & others section, the corners and edges of the screen can be used as triggers to perform an action.

I think this might be related to the "blurred background" option. Could you try disabling that and see whether it works correctly afterwards? I'll have a look on why it might happen.
By the way, you can also use the "Resize on Hover" options on the floating menu (have it small by default and expand it when hovering). Here is an example of a menu that makes use of this:
And you can set different background colors for hovered /unhovered and even make the menu completely transparent when not hovered:

Also, I'm curious, if I wanted this menu only to appear by specific windows how would that be done?
