Long time user, first time poster here. Is there a way to adjust how quickly a window gets 'maximized to left half', for example, using the mac trackpad? It used to teleport instantly, but now it slides over a quarter second or so.

By default BetterTouchTool nowadays uses the systems snapping implementation. If you prefer the old "immediate" resize, you'd need to switch to the classic implementation:
