How can I close a Floating Menu by clicking its menu bar icon again?

I have a Floating Menu opened from a custom menu bar icon. Clicking outside closes the menu correctly, but clicking the menu bar icon again does not close it—it only opens it.

The icon uses the “Toggle Floating Menu Hidden / Shown” action.

Is there a way to make both behaviors work?

that is indeed tricky because the "click outside" hiding and the menubar toggle conflict. (the click outside hide is faster, thus once the click reaches the menubar icon, the toggle action will make it visible again immediately)

I think I need to add a special case for this scenario.

Thanks, that explains the behavior exactly. I got the menu bar toggle working by disabling “Close On Outside Click” for the Floating Menu.So this works as a workaround, but it means clicking outside no longer hides the menu.
