Help changing Excel shortcuts

Hello-

Brand new to BTT and trying to configure some shortcuts in MS Excel. I have added Excel in the App Specific area. I then, under the "keyboard" category clicked the "add new shortcut or key sequence. In the "change key sequence" box I hit the F2 key. Then in the "trigger other keyboard shortcut" box I hit "control + U" which is the normal Mac shortcut for the normal F2 functionality if on a PC. Everything looks right, but in Excel F2 still has the native functionality.

Any thoughts?

Thank you in advance for any help.

Hi, I think this might help:
Open System Preferences -> Keyboard -> and tick the box that says "Use F1, F2, etc. keys as standard function keys"
You should be able to hit F2 to edit cell in Excel.
You can now use native functionality by holding Fn key instead.
