Heavy input lag

Describe the bug
A few days ago seemingly out of nowhere I started getting some serious input lag (total freezes when moving windows around, letters being skipped when typing too fast

After some investigation and killing various programs and restarting I finally came to the conclusion that having BTT running was causing these issues. Initially I thought that the snapping feature made things worse, but even with disabling it I'm lagging heavily.

So far this happens as soon as BTT is running, and as soon as I quit things go back to normal.

if you have the experimental dropbox/ icloud sync enabled try to disable that. Otherwise possibly try to create a new preset & deactivate your existing one in BTT and see whether the issue goes away, could be some trigger/action that has a bad configuration.

Ah that might have been it

Sync was indeed enabled, but seems that I did not even have a sync method selected so I expect it wasn't even doing anything, but also when selecting Dropbox the problem persisted.
