is there anything that I did wrong? its been 9 days I haven’t got any response from you .Please help me.I am also wondering if there is any discount that you offer for the people who already purchased BTT running 4.0.72 @Andreas_Hegenberg @moderators
? BTT does not replace your menu bar, you can add extra features or change properties of the menu bar and icons, but there is not a separate BTT menu bar….I have a m4 and my notch is there, always has been. As a matter of fact, BTT allows you to add features to the notch, and there is a preset you can download on here that shows off somewhat you can do. Perhaps it sounds like you are running an old version of both BTT and MacOS. If you love BTT i don’t think it is that much to pay for the upgrade and PS asking for a discount in the title of your post is kinda tacky or shall I saw very tacky. For future reference, if you want a question answered here or anywhere, I would advise to refrain from that. While you're at it, learn some proper decorum-it’s a sure bet you will get questions on the internet answered faster and more frequently, and also help in real life too. Double bonus. Just saying your message looks and reads like trash, so no wonder no one responded. This forum is a great source and a reminder of the internet in years past where there is actually useful information being shared and people helping and questions answered-often by the developer of BTT himself none the less. So if you are still having trouble perhaps pay the small modest fee to upgrade to the appropriate version and if still having issues try asking for help again albeit using the new approach you’ve hopefully learned, hint its real simple to learn and shouldn’t take long, and I'm sure you will get any questions you have answered. Good luck!
Honestly, I appreciate your response. You’re right about software; I’m using an older version, but that doesn’t mean it’s outdated. Since it’s Sequoia, it’s much more reliable and bug-free, with a great aesthetic.I do feel Sequoia is much better. Yes, I did ask for a discount because I’m a student and can’t afford to pay more, but I definitely will purchase the newest version at some point. For now, though, I want to run this current version.
Moving to the question, I installed the preset from the forum, and it finally worked. I am gonna show the pictures in this post.
When I hover my mouse on top left of the menu bar and swipe up , I could see an empty space. Is it possible to fill that empty space with button?.
The desired outcome is that when I hover my mouse over the menu bar and swipe up, I should see the two or three buttons I want to add. However, when I swipe down, the buttons should disappear, and the default Apple menu bar should appear.
1st pictures demonstrates the normal menu bar with btt customized buttons. This is before you swipe up.

from what i can infer from your post RE:problem is that the preset has a different action(s) forr 2 different direction swipes and thats where I would look. Sounds like you want the Default Apple Action to occr and that is easy done bc it is a Preset Action in BTT, just look/search for it. Keep me posted
