Has anyone had any luck combining IFTTT with BTT? (I'm talking read/GET not write/POST)

So there's a few tutorials floating around to activate IFTTT through BTT (it just links to the WebHook). Has anyone had any luck finding a workaround to reading through IFTTT? I feel it would open up a world of possibilities for applications like Todoist, and others that sync with IFTTT but don't offer any Apple Script support.

My coding is quite limited in skill.

I'll have a look at the IFTTT api to see whether that would be possible / what can be done. However I probably won't be able to add any deeper integration until end of July.
