BTT 6.705 / macOS 26.6 — h@llo.ai hangs/crashes during BTT Expert tool calls; Invisible Operation also ignored
Using OpenRouter with MiniMax M3 and the BetterTouchTool Configuration Assistant.
I configured a h@llo.ai - Show Customizable AI Assistant action with:
- BTT Expert enabled
- General Assistant enabled
- Initial User Message supplied
- “Close Chat After Processing Of This Message Finished” enabled
- “Invisible Operation / Don’t Show Chat UI” enabled
Despite Invisible Operation being enabled, triggering the action opened the normal AI chat window.
The assistant began what appeared to be a BTT configuration tool call, then BetterTouchTool quit unexpectedly. None of the requested Named Trigger/shortcut configuration had been created.

I have also reproduced beachball hangs during complex AI tool workflows with both MiniMax M3 and Qwen3 Coder Next. Activity Monitor samples from those hangs show the main thread spending most of its time in SwiftUI / AttributeGraph / LazyLayout processing.
A simple BTT AI task can succeed; the failures appear with more complex configuration/tool-call workflows.
