I am disabled and use a special head operated mouse that only left-clicks although I now can right-click as well thanks to BTT and your help with a left-click and hold.
But I would also like to be able to grab scroll like you can’t on iOS devices if that’s possible. If holding down a modifier key while left-clicking and dragging is necessary that’s OK. Specifically I’m looking at the iphone mirroring app that’s included with MacOS Sequoia. You can pretty much control your entire phone was just a mouse and left-clicking this way which is very useful to me but there is one major omission, or oversight depending on how you look at it. You can “grab and drag” left and right to horizontally scroll left and right but trying to do the same to scroll up and down does not work for whatever reason. It only seems to work using a trackpad or the scroll wheel on some third-party mice which doesn’t do any good. Not being able to scroll up and down is obviously a major problem and limits the use of my iPhone via iphone mirroring on the Mac. Once again this seems like an oversight by Apple and I have written to them about it.
In the meantime I wonder if there would be a solution via BTT? If so could somebody explain how or even create one and send it to me? Thanks.
