Once you have defined the triggers that the device provides in the "Provided Triggers" box,
then you can use these as triggers in your configuration.
Open the "Generic Device" settings view, and add a new trigger with the + button. You should see on the left side a drop list under "Select Trigger".
The triggers defined in your "Provided Triggers" will be listed there under the name of your device.
Pick one of these (middlePedal, etc), then add some actions to it.

In your screenshot in the "Provided Triggers" box I only see middlePedal. I think you need to add leftPedal and rightPedal also.
