Describe the bug
Since updating a few hours ago, I've been having issues with the touchbar functionality. Issues appeared immediately after updating.
I have BTT set to hide the control strip (i.e. a full-width custom touch bar is in use), but the control strip will still appear for some apps, or the BTT bar will disappear completely when it should be always-visible. Behaviour is inconsistent and glitchy; the custom touch bar will appear sometimes in chrome but break upon entering BTT to change settings.

Additional information (e.g. StackTraces, related issues, screenshots, workarounds, etc.):
Have turned off other touchbar-related tools (after boot however), enabled and re-enabled the touch bar completely, restarted the machine and more. Issues persist. Do use haptic touch bar for feedback when using the control strip instead of BTT.
