Describe the bug
Problems with the latest stable version (3.581) offered.
When BTT is launched, my entire operating system and its applications are extremely slow and continuously freeze. Each action on my part (click, open menu, file, etc.) causes the appearance of the beach-ball which spins almost continuously. It takes several tens of seconds for it to disappear and for the requested action to take place.
Likewise, if the trackpad still allows interaction with the OS or applications, no more click sound.
I've to restart my machine to deactivate BTT and regain use of it. As soon as I restart BTT, the problems reappear.
Affected input device (e.g. MacBook Trackpad, Magic Mouse/Trackpad, Touch Bar, etc.):
All OS, apps, and MacBook Trackpad.
