It would be nice to be able to position a widget somewhere on the desktop and pin its position. This avoids the hassle to get the right xy-coordinates.
If you use Move & Resize Freely, it should stay at the position you dragged it to
If you want to disable dragging after you have positioned the menu you can disable menu dragging here, I can make that option available in the context menu
Yeah I know, but as soon as you flip the option to specific position, you need to reposition again.
Edit: if disable dragging is selected while widget already displayed, then drag blocking doesn’t work. In this case the widget must be closed and activated again.

I use the radial app switcher preset. On touch release I use action Trigger Hovered Menu Item And Hide Floating Menu. It looks like it then also hides the widgets.
if the hide action is used without providing a menu identifier, it will hide all menus
