Hey @Andreas_Hegenberg just saw a GitHub repo where someone seems to be sharing a way to reset the trial and bypass payment for the app — looks like spam or abuse.
The things people come up with to avoid paying the really fair price of one of the best apps for the Mac.
I have blocked this specific thing sometime last year 
But in the end it will always be possible to do things like this. I‘m regularly blocking machines that use these hacks.
When I think about it ... there could actually be good reasons why trial period is not enough for someone. You install an app, but don't have time to try it out the next days ...
If someone explained this to me in a friendly way and asked me for one (1) extension, I would consider that.
If you want to cheat, you'll always find a way. But if you are unsure whether BTT is the right app, you could become a good customer if you can try it out again.
On the other hand, a standard license costs even less than the already cheap lifetime license ... I'm just talking out loud to myself. 
Yeah, I only shared it because btt’s been super useful to me and it sucks seeing people try to cheat around it. Totally get that some folks might need more trial time, but that should be a convo, not some hacky workaround. The app’s honestly worth way more than what it costs.... respect for keeping it going and constantly updating it.
