One of the things I struggle with is terminal windows. because of multi monitor and multi desktop, I end up with roughly as many terminal windows as grains of sand on a beach.

Having a floating window that's always exact where I know it is would be insanely useful to me, but I don't see a way to do that.

have a look at iterm2, it has a great „hotkey window“ option

If you ever need similar for other apps, BTT's predefined action "Show/Hide Specific Application" can at least achieve that to some degree (but the hotkey window is of course way cooler)
