Floating Menu - Layout: Canvas mode

Hallo,
to allow more control to position "menu items" it might be an option to introduce a fixed x/y position for "menu" items in a future version.

To illustrate:
I have defined a "large" fixed sized menu (it's more like a canvas now) and I want to freely position items (e.g. buttons/etc) on this area (see screen).

yep a fixed xy mode will be added with one of the next alphas. I think you can already achieve most layouts using the x and y margins, but it‘s more complicated to setup this way

Ah yes! Did not thought about that "margins" will do the job as well...
