Floating menu has stopped working entirely

Hello,

Unfortunately floating menus have stopped working entirely for me. After upgrading BTT a few times in an attempt to pull latest fixes I am now on BTT version 6.648 // Mac OS 26.5.2 with the same issue.

Some more details after debugging further:

  • My existing floating menu does not preview
  • Using my keyboard shortcut to show the menu does not do anything (other actions configured on that shortcut do work fine)
  • Newly created floating menus will function, but as soon as I attach a keyboard shortcut to them and set any of the "Close when XYZ" visibility options, they also stop working with the same problem and are essentially bricked from this point on. Nothing I have tried can bring the menu back in any way
  • Restarting my mac or BTT does not do anything
  • Do not see any crash reports in Console

Anything I am missing here?

can you export a menu that does not work and attach it here or send it to me? (andreas@folivora.ai)

To export you can right click-> export to file

Here's a new menu I created, set "Close On Any Keyboard Input", then tried to attach to a keyboard shortcut. It worked for a second, then once I went back into the BTT settings, it stopped working entirely.

Should be resolved in 6.650 alpha now.
